| I need to stop taking fandom hiatuses. I'm finding all sorts of unfinished crap on my hard drive. Let's see, we got the beginnings to a Petunia/Narcissa thing, a story narrated by Muggle, something apparently meant to be a Blackfic, an incomplete chapter of The Eternal, and the lyrics of "As Time Goes By" (not sure what I planned to do with that though odds are it was Percy/Fleur related).

| Haha! Managed to have some self-restraint and did not call Brad today. The fucker can call me if he has any inclination to stop being a jackass.
So I have a little over a week until I start my new job. I plan to spend lots of that time reading. Recs? Any sort of thing, really. Okay, not too much fantasy or sci-fi-- I'm wary when it comes to those genres.
I have an urge to do a book-related survey. Are there any floating about?

| I've been staying out so late since I lost my job that it is now impossible to fall asleep before 4 a.m.
So I noticed that the Even Stevens kid seems to be expanding away from Disney and has been in a couple of recent movies (I, Robot and Constantine-- he starred in Holes a couple of years ago too if I'm not mistaken). Looked him up on IMDB-- he has the exact same birthdate as me. Ah, the things that amuse you when it's past your bedtime.

| Last update was July 6th. My, much has happened since then -_-. Right around July I started getting incredibly busy and I'm just now slowed down again.
Quick update: I started working full time hours at Staples, never made it to college, quit Staples when offered a better paying job, better paying job fell through, currently unemployed and desperately seeking new job whilst trying to avoid being kicked out before acquiring a means of steady income.

Hmhmm, as for this HBP business... if it is Tom Riddle, I will be very disappointed. I want to be thoroughly shocked as to who the title refers to and TMR just would not be much of a surprise at all.
Besides, I think it'll be an obscure character, just as with PoA-- Sirius had only been mentioned once until that book came out.

Despite my meticulous planning for The Eternal, I seem to have overlooked career options for the Trio. I've got Ron solved-- he informed me that he was an Auror as I was writing chapter two. Which was actually convenient when it fell into place as it gave me a connection to Kingsley and a person to broach the subject of demonology.
I swear, I've no control over these characters.
I'm not sure what to do with Harry and Hermione. I'm toying with an idea for Harry that is sure to be unpopular-- if I go for it, he'll have taken Auror training with Ron but failed because he's too reckless (a la Department of Mysteries fiasco in OotP). I can just see the reviews now telling me that if Ron could pass, Harry surely could.
As for Hermione, I'm completely at sea.

| Whilst browsing JKRowling.com, I stumbled across the rumor (and JKR's horrified response) about Lily Evans Potter once being a Death Eater. We've all seen at least a couple of fics and theories utilizing that idea (speaking of which-- any well-written ones out there?).
And then a bunny began to innocently nibble at me. What about James? I don't think I've ever seen a DE!James story and I rather think it'd be interesting.
